Back in LA after the most epic little staycation in Orange County. I loved looking around Laguna Beach with my “LA Mom”, Susanna. It was where she first lived when she came to California from New Zealand at my age. We ate at her favourite restaurant, lay on the beach at the end of her old street and got coffee at the cafe that she’d take her journal every day. It was magical. And to top off the perfect couple of days, we got to watch her husband, Jeff, play with Jackson Browne at the Pacific Amphitheatre, last night! ✨🙌🏼

Last time I sat in this cute little diner on Balboa Island in Orange County, I was literally fresh of the plane from Australia. It was last October and I was freaking out about how many options were on the menu, the size of the meals and what words like “half-and-half” or “over easy” meant. Looking back, I had no idea of the kinds of adventures this year world hold for me or the beautiful people I’d meet along the way. I am beyond grateful! ❤️🇺🇸
